Activity description
Base Zero, established in 2018 by Stefano Cravero and Enrico Bisi, originates from a shared passion for cinema dating back to their university days. Base Zero integrates their combined experiences (Stefano is a well-known film editor, Enrico is a director specialized in documentaries) aiming to venture into film and documentary production with an innovative and provocative perspective on reality. In addition to its core mission, Base Zero provides comprehensive post-production services and has established relationships with prominent Italian and International clients such as Vivo Film, Tempesta, Ventura Film, Wanted Cinema. Bisi and Cravero themselves have contributed to award-winning films and documentaries showcased at prestigious international festivals including Locarno, Venice, and Berlin.
The first completed projects by Base Zero are: About Last Year, 2023 Directed by Dunja Lavecchia, Beatrice Surano, Morena Terranova (in competition at the International Critics' Week at the 80th Venice International Film Festival and winner of Nastro d’Argento Speciale “Valentina Pedicini”), and Dark Globe by Donato Sansone, 2024 (Presented as opening short film at International Critics’ Week at the 81st Venice International Film Festival).
